I am an independent writer/artist/creative wonk, a good friend, a sponsor/mentor, emerging crone, a hedgewitch, long-distance daughter and sister, a recovered lush and dope fiend, somewhat bookish, quirky, gimpy, occasionally snarky, geek-ish, curmudgeonly, straightforward, unconventional, irreverent, indomitable, generous, kind, patient, encouraging, heavily seasoned with a a healthy sense of the ridiculous and a pervasive bullshit detector.
I like: most things not at all good for me, kitties, ferrets, pit bulls, television, movies- new and old, most music from Ozzy to Enya , crusty bread with fresh butter and chai tea, cherry popsicles, chewy cookies, pie, most good for you vegetables, Diet Coke, people of a like mind, crows, ravens, otters, big cats, hawks and crocodiles. I am addicted to the computer and the DVR on which I record too many reality shows, old television re-runs and many movies.
I believe strongly in: DIY, bootstrapping, self-determination, empowerment and advocacy, self-employment, creative dreams and doing what you love, and living life instead of just surviving it.
I dislike: politically-correct speak, most bugs, lima beans, rain and humidity. I also dislike wanton incompetence and stupidity, closed minds and other dumbasses.
